The God of The Ages - Deuteronomy
It's been said that the book of Deuteronomy has ‘more influence on the rest of the biblical story than any other book of the Bible' and that 'it is to the Old Testament what Romans is to the New Testament’. In Deuteronomy we are reminded that God is the unique, all-powerful, faithful, loving, law-giving, personally present and covenant keeping God. This is the God who has chosen us, before the creation of the world, to be holy in His sight. And this is the God who calls us to choose to live for Him, to seek to be distinct in our society.
