DATE: 5 Mondays, commencing 9th March
TIME: 7.30pm-9.00pm
LOCATION: Church by the Bridge

In March we are again running our One Another Care Training Course.  This four-week course will cover:

  • What the Bible says about pastoral care
  • Listening
  • Grief
  • Resilience

It aims provides you with an opportunity to learn skills that will shape how you respond and care for others.  Our Facilitator Di Morgan has over 25 years’ experience in teaching and working in churches.

Many members of our church have taken part in this training and have found it enormously helpful with many applications beyond their involvement at church.    Here is some feedback:

“This course helped me see the value in listening and how hard this is!”

“I have referred back to my notes often since doing the care course – the content was both biblical and practical.”

“Di Morgan is a fabulous teacher – I learnt so much from her wisdom about care.”

One of our distinctives here at church is “Real Relationships”.  This course provides you with an opportunity to see how you can contribute towards the shape of how we care for each other here at church and beyond.  Please take the opportunity to learn some skills that you will apply every day in every conversation you have with a friend, a neighbour, a family member, your work colleague etc.

Starts Monday 9th March 7.30pm - 9pm in the hall in Kirribilli.

DATE: Monday 20th (Mums) & Tuesday 21st (Dads) January
TIME: 7.45pm - 9pm
LOCATION: Church by the Bridge, Kirribilli

If you’re a parent, one of the most important things you can do is read the bible with your children. But often, we don’t know what to do or what that should look like.

In January, we’re running a practical workshop with James Galea for all parents or anyone who has children in your life, about how to actually read the Bible and pray with kids.

Mums come Monday, then encourage Dads to come Tuesday, so no need to book a babysitter!

Lock it in your diary now and start the year better equipped to read the scriptures with your children.
