Are you or someone you know experiencing separation or divorce, looking for support by meeting others who have experienced something similar, and to be given an opportunity to share, listen, and think through how to heal in a supportive, Christian environment?
At Divorce Care groups, people experiencing separation and divorce find tools, teaching and support, to help them deal with their pain and give them hope for the future. Divorce Care helps you face the challenges of this often confusing, stressful and isolating time and move toward rebuilding your life.
This 8-week Christ-centred program addresses divorce-related concerns, such as how long is this pain going to last? Will I survive? Are these feelings I’m having normal? Where is God in all this? You’ll gain insights on how to handle though emotions, such as anger, depression and loneliness. Over the eight weeks topics covered include: What’s happening to me?; Facing my anger; Facing my depression; Facing my loneliness; What does the owner’s manual say?; New relationships; Forgiveness; Reconciliation.
Please join us on Sunday afternoons, commencing 7th February, 2.30pm-4.30pm at Church by the Bridge Kirribilli. The cost is $40 for the 8 weeks.
