An Evening at the Oaks - SOLD OUT
DATE: Thursday 14th and 21st March
LOCATION: The Oaks Hotel, Neutral Bay
This year, we’re running two consecutive evenings at the Oaks Hotel in Neutral Bay on Thursday March 14th and 21st. Previously, these events have been separate men’s and women’s events, but this year both nights are open to all, so you can invite your friends, family and colleagues along to either or both! Members of our church family will tell us about their faith and its impact in business, marriage, singleness, family, curve balls and life. Our speakers are :
Mahyar Maleki - 3.30pm Kirribilli (14th & 21st) - in Feb 2017 Mahyar's life changed forever when he suffered a life altering neck injury while surfing at Dee Why Beach, however this event resulted in Mahyar putting his faith in Jesus. Now in a wheelchair, Mahyar will share how Jesus has given him a freedom he never had before his accident.
Elaine Collin - 10am Neutral Bay (14th & 21st) - Elaine served 11 years at Abbotsleigh, then as principal of Roseville College for 7 years and PLC Melbourne for 11 years. Elaine will be sharing about the difference her faith in Jesus has had in her role as a school & community leader.
Andrew France - 9.45am Kirribilli (14th only) - Owner and director of marketing and sales company Destined. Andrew will be sharing the difference his faith in Jesus makes as a father and business owner.
Bridget Yorston - 10am Neutral Bay (21st only) - Owner and director of women's fashion label Bec & Bridge. Bridget will be sharing the difference her faith in Jesus makes as a mother and business owner.
Both events will be a laid-back evening, an opportunity to share a drink and a meal together and a chance for you and your friends to hear some inspiring stories about how faith makes a real difference in the real world.
